The SMC Type CXS Series is a high-performance dual rod (twin shaft) pneumatic cylinder designed for precision linear motion and guiding in automated machinery. Engineered with a dual piston rod structure, it delivers twice the output force of standard single-rod cylinders and exceptional anti-rotation performance (±0.1° accuracy), ensuring stable, deflection-free operation.
Available in both slide bearing (CXSM) and ball bushing bearing (CXSL) types with interchangeable dimensions, the CXS series offers flexible precision guiding for various load conditions. Its compact, thin-body design saves installation space, while multi-directional mounting and workpiece attachment enhance versatility.

Built with high-quality seals and rubber bumpers, the CXS series provides smooth movement, low friction, long service life, and reliable impact absorption. It supports SMC auto switches (D-M9m, D-A9m) for precise position detection and is RoHS compliant
