The SMC MGG series is a heavy-duty, external guide rod pneumatic cylinder engineered for high-load, long-stroke industrial automation applications Integrating a round-body cylinder with dual high-rigidity guide rods, it effectively isolates lateral loads and moments from the piston and seals, ensuring exceptional stability, precision, and durability.

• High Rigidity & Load Capacity: Dual parallel guide rods deliver superior resistance to lateral loads and moments, protecting the cylinder core from eccentric forces. Available with MGGM (carbon steel slide bearing) for high side-load stability (ideal for stopping/blocking) or MGGL (precision ball bearing) for smooth, low-friction travel (ideal for pushing/lifting)

• Ultra-Precise Non-Rotation: Industry-leading anti-rotation accuracy from ±0.07° (20mm bore) down to ±0.02° (100mm bore), guaranteeing consistent orientation for precision assembly and transfer

• Built-In Shock Absorption: Standard hydraulic shock absorbers at both ends maximize kinetic energy absorption, enabling high-speed operation (50-1000mm/s) with minimal impact and noise.

• Long Stroke & Adjustable: Supports extremely long strokes up to 1300mm (bore dependent). Features stroke adjustment (0-15mm) on both extend/retract cycles for precise positioning control.
