MGPKAM is a high-performance compact guided cylinder from the SMC MGPK series, engineered for space-saving automation applications. It features an ultra-compact body with up to 28% volume reduction and 41% weight reduction compared to standard MGPM models, while maintaining equivalent lateral load, non-rotation accuracy, and allowable kinetic energy.
Built with enhanced rigidity via thickened end plates and extended bearing length that increases with stroke, the MGPKAM ensures stable performance under eccentric loads. Equipped with a lube retainer for consistent lubrication and dust protection, it delivers long service life and reliable operation.
Available in bore sizes 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm with strokes up to 200mm, it supports 4 mounting styles (top, bottom, T-slot, rear) and auto switch installation on two surfaces. Top/side piping options, knock pin holes for precise positioning, and optional air cushion further improve versatility.
Constructed with durable anodized aluminum and compliant with RoHS, MGPKAM operates at 0.1–1.0MPa, temperature range -10°C to 60°C. It is widely used in precision positioning, lifting, transfer, assembly, and electronic automation, offering direct interchangeability with SMC MGPK series.
