The AirTAC Type HLS & HLSL Series are high-precision dual-rod slide cylinders featuring an integrated cross roller linear guide design, engineered for stable, accurate linear motion in precision automation applications. As core products of AirTAC, the two series share superior performance while catering to different installation needs: HLS is the standard dual-rod cross roller slide cylinder, while HLSL adopts a symmetrical structure for more flexible layout scenarios. Both series combine high rigidity, high load capacity, and excellent linearity, making them ideal for precision assembly, positioning, and clamping tasks in confined spaces.

Core Features

  • Integrated Cross Roller Guide: Integrated design of cross roller linear guide and cylinder body, achieving high precision, high rigidity, high load capacity, excellent linearity and anti-rotation tolerance, perfectly suitable for precision assembly occasions.

  • Series Differentiation:
    • HLS Series: Standard dual-rod cross roller slide cylinder, optimized for general precision automation scenarios.

    • HLSL Series: Symmetrical dual-rod cross roller slide cylinder, designed for symmetrical installation and layout requirements, enhancing flexibility in equipment integration.

  • Action Type:Double-acting as standard, with dual rod structure that doubles the output thrust, ensuring stable bidirectional force output and reliable operation in high-frequency cyclic work.

  • Bore & Stroke: Bore sizes available: 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm; standard strokes range from 10mm to 150mm (varies by bore size), with non-standard strokes available on request.

  • Flexible Mounting: 3-direction mounting available via body mounting holes, with positioning pin holes on the guide rail and body to improve the repeatability of workpiece and body mounting; through holes for body mounting enable convenient fixing from above.

  • Fixture Compatibility: Threaded holes on the top and front side of the slide table for direct fixture installation, facilitating quick and precise positioning of workpieces.

  • Float Joint Design: Adopts float joint design, ensuring the piston rod does not bear additional torque, protecting the cylinder and extending service life.

  • Operating Parameters:
    • Operating Pressure: 0.15–0.7MPa (bore 6: 0.2–0.7MPa)

    • Proof Pressure: 1.2MPa

    • Temperature Range: -20℃~+70℃

    • Speed Range: 50–500mm/s

    • Cushioning: Fixed bumper cushion at both ends (optional shock absorbers for most bore sizes)

    • Fluid: Filtered air (40μm filter element required)

  • Sensor Compatibility: Built-in magnetic switch slots on both sides of the cylinder body, compatible with AirTAC CMSH, DMSH, EMSH series magnetic sensors for convenient and precise position detection without additional brackets.

  • Durable Construction: Aluminum alloy body (hard anodized), stainless steel piston rods, and wear-resistant seals, ensuring corrosion resistance and long service life; internal cross roller guide assembly enhances structural stability.

  • Piping Options: Port sizes M5×0.8 or 1/8", with PT, G, NPT thread options available for flexible on-site piping connection.

Applications

Ideal for precision positioning, small-part assembly, clamping, transferring, sorting, and ejecting in electronics, semiconductor, packaging, medical devices, precision instrument manufacturing, and compact automation lines. HLS is suitable for general precision scenarios, while HLSL is preferred for applications requiring symmetrical installation and layout, both providing reliable power support for high-accuracy automated production lines.
