The AirTAC type STMB & STMS Series are high-performance dual-rod slide cylinders, engineered for stable linear motion and strong load-bearing capacity in automated production lines. As core products of AirTAC type, the two series share superior structural strength and reliable quality, with differentiated mounting designs to meet diverse installation needs: STMB is the body-fixed type, while STMS is the slider-fixed type. Both series feature a dual-piston rod structure, ensuring excellent anti-bending and anti-torsion rigidity, making them ideal for precision positioning, clamping and transferring tasks in various industrial scenarios

Core Features

  • Series Differentiation:
    • STMB Series: Body-fixed dual-rod slide cylinder, optimized for general automated production scenarios, with a practical structure that facilitates stable integration with equipment frames

    • STMS Series: Slider-fixed dual-rod slide cylinder, designed for scenarios requiring slider-based installation, enhancing flexibility in equipment layout and motion control

    • Action Type: Double-acting (dual-piston) as standard, ensuring stable bidirectional force output, suitable for high-frequency cyclic work scenarios and long-term continuous operation

  • Bore & Stroke: Bore sizes available: 10mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm; standard strokes range from 25mm to 250mm (varies by bore size), with non-standard strokes available on request. The maximum standard stroke varies by bore: up to 100mm for φ10, up to 150mm for φ16, up to 200mm for φ20, and up to 250mm for φ25

  • Guide Structure: Dual piston rod design provides high anti-bending and anti-torsion rigidity, ensuring excellent guiding performance and long service life, effectively avoiding motion deviation during operation

  • Flexible Mounting: Reserved assembly slots on the cylinder body for easy installation, fixing and position adjustment of magnetic switches. Multiple mounting holes are provided on the body and slider, enabling convenient integration with various fixtures and equipment

  • Sensor Compatibility: The piston is equipped with a permanent magnet, which can trigger magnetic switches installed on the cylinder to sense the cylinder's movement position. Compatible with AirTAC type standard magnetic switches for convenient and precise position detection

  • Operating Parameters:
    • Operating Pressure: 0.1–0.9MPa (1.0–9.0 kgf/cm²)

    • Temperature Range: 0℃~+70℃ (suitable for most industrial working environments, high-temperature sealing materials available for 150℃ operation)

    • Speed Range: 50–200mm/s

    • Proof Pressure: 1.35MPa (13.5 kgf/cm²)

    • Fluid: Filtered air; lubrication is not required, reducing maintenance costs

  • Non-Rotation Accuracy: Excellent anti-rotation performance, with a non-rotation accuracy of ±0.1° (±0.05° optional), ensuring precise linear motion

  • Durable Construction: High-quality aluminum alloy body, stainless steel piston rods, and wear-resistant seals, ensuring wear resistance and corrosion resistance, suitable for long-term use in harsh working conditions

  • Adjuster & Piping Options: Multiple external stopper combinations available, including adjustable rubber stoppers and optional hydraulic shock absorbers to reduce impact and extend service life. Port sizes include M5×0.8 and 1/8", with PT, G, NPT thread options available for flexible on-site piping connection

Applications

Ideal for precision positioning, clamping, transferring, sorting, and automatic filling in electronics, machinery manufacturing, packaging, light textile, printing and dyeing, and other industries. STMB is suitable for general automated production scenarios requiring body fixation, while STMS is preferred for equipment requiring slider-based installation, providing reliable power support for high-stability automated production lines
