Product Overview
The SC Series Cylinder Accessory Line provides a comprehensive selection of mounting hardware designed to transform standard tie-rod pneumatic cylinders into versatile motion components. These accessories are engineered for high-load durability and precision alignment, ensuring that your cylinders operate smoothly across a wide range of mounting configurations.
Constructed from high-grade carbon steel or aluminum alloy with corrosion-resistant finishes (such as galvanization or painting), these components are built to withstand the rigorous demands of industrial environments. Whether you require rigid fixed mounting, pivoting motion, or specialized rod-end attachments, this series provides the perfect mechanical interface for any automation setup.
Comprehensive Hardware Guide
1. Fixed Mounting Brackets
LB (Foot Bracket): Designed for axial mounting, the LB bracket allows the cylinder to be secured parallel to the mounting surface. It provides excellent stability for linear thrust applications.
FA/FB (Front/Rear Flange): Precision-cut plates used to mount the cylinder perpendicular to the surface. FA is for front-end mounting, while FB secures the cylinder from the rear.
2. Pivot & Trunnion Mounts
CA (Single Clevis): A male pivot mount attached to the rear of the cylinder, allowing for 180-degree rotation.
CB (Double Clevis): A female pivot mount with two "ears" and a securing pin, typically used in conjunction with CA or CR brackets for hinged motion.
CR (Rear Support Base): A heavy-duty bracket used to support CA or CB mounts, providing a stable pivot point on the machine frame.
TC (Center Trunnion) & TCM1 (Trunnion Support): The TC pins allow the cylinder to pivot from its center or ends, while the TCM1 provides the reinforced bearing blocks to hold these pins securely.
3. Rod End Attachments
Y-Joint (Clevis Joint): A fork-style connector with a pin used to attach the piston rod to the machine load, allowing for angular movement.
I-Joint (Eye Joint): A single-eye connector for simple pivot connections, offering a compact and streamlined rod-end interface.
Key Technical Features
Universal Compatibility: Designed to fit all standard SC series tie-rod cylinders and ISO-standard equivalents.
High-Strength Construction: Drop-forged and CNC-machined components ensure zero deformation even under maximum cylinder output forces.
Simplified Installation: All brackets feature standardized hole patterns for rapid assembly and replacement, minimizing machine downtime.
Enhanced Wear Resistance: Pivot points and joints are treated for low friction and high durability, ensuring a long service life.
